We consider ourselves average.

It varies. About 8 hours/day.

like/dislike about them?
We are basically satisfied with our jobs, but not satisfied with
the high risks in farming.
10. How much money does each family member earn/month?
Wu Ba Jiu: RMB 2,000 ($235 US).
Wu Wen De: RMB 4,000 ($470 US).
Wu Wen Bin: RMB 3,000 ($350 US).
11. What are your total expenses each month for:
Wu Ba Jiu: RMB 100/month ($12 US).
Wu Wen De: RMB 200/month ($24 US).
Wu Wen Bin: RMB 150/month ($18 US).
We grow our own food and seldom have to shop.
12. What is your family's energy consumption and cost?
Electricity: RMB 8/month @ 0.193/unit ($1 US).
Water: Artesian well of village is free for 2 cubic
meters/person/month. After that RMB 10/cubic meters.
13. How much waste do you generate; and how does your
family dispose of its waste?
Mostly organic waste which is compost for the field.

Our TV is from Japan.
